Venue · Catering · Decor · Lighting · Photography

Book the venue, the caterer and the decor without eight chat threads.

A mehndi for 300 people needs a hall, food, decor, lighting and a photographer. Right now that is eight separate searches and eight advances paid against a WhatsApp message. Tell us the date and the budget and we do the finding.

We will email you as soon as bookings open. No spam.

How booking works

What it takes to actually book a vendor.

Buyers we spoke to contacted 32 vendors to book one event, and waited two to four hours for most replies. What came back was a quote, not a booking. These five screens replace that.

  1. 01
Filter screen: event type, event time, budget in rupees, event date, number of people and city.

    Say what you need

Nikah or mehndi, the date, how many people, which city, and what you can spend. The search runs off those, not a keyword.

  2. 02
Search results for wedding halls — 62 results, each with a photo, location and opening hours.

    See who is free

Halls that hold your guest count and are open on your date, with photos and the area they are in. Not a directory of numbers to ring.

  3. 03
Home screen with category shortcuts, a featured vendor carrying a coupon and rating, and wedding hall listings.

    Compare them properly

Rating, coupon and opening hours on the card itself. Halls, decor, catering and bakery all sit in the same place.

  4. 04
Payment screen with card, online and offline options, card details and an SSL-encrypted pay button.

    Pay the advance

Card, online or offline. It is recorded against a booking ID you can open later, rather than disappearing into a bank transfer.

  5. 05
Calendar for April showing an appointment and a booking on the 14th, each with a chat button.

    Keep the date straight

Site visits, tastings and confirmed bookings on one grid, each with a way to message that vendor.

More than one thing to book

You are not booking just one thing.

A wedding usually means finding several vendors at once, and each one has its own quote cycle, its own advance and its own chat thread. That is eight chances for something to go wrong on a date that cannot move.

One place for the whole event

Every vendor and every date, on one screen.

An event is not one booking, it is eight running at once. Yours sits in a single workspace: what is booked, what is still open, what each part costs, and what is happening on which day.

The categories screen: wedding halls, decor, conference halls, food and beverages, bakery, farm house and swimming pool, each with a row of vendor cards.
Every category in one indexVenue, decor, catering, bakery and lighting side by side, so you can fill the gaps in your event instead of starting a new search for each one.
The calendar screen: a February week grid with decor appointments, a bakery booking and a wedding hall booking placed on the hours they fall.
One calendar for the dateSite visits, tastings and confirmed bookings on one grid, so nothing collides in the week that matters.

What you can do on BookitUp

What Instagram cannot do for you.

Instagram and the wedding directories are good at showing you who exists. Neither will tell you if a hall is free on your date, what it costs, or hold your advance until the day.

Search by what you can spend.

Decor packages in this market run from Rs 25,000 to Rs 800,000 with no benchmark to judge them by. Set a range and every category is searched inside it.

  • Nikah, anniversary, corporate, the event type shapes the results.
  • Day, night or both, so availability is real rather than theoretical.
  • Guest count and city narrow it before you ever open a chat.
Filter screen: event type, event time, budget in rupees, event date, number of people and city.
Booking details: booking ID, vendor contact details, booking date, advance payment and the amount paid.

The advance leaves a record.

Right now people pay cash or transfer against a WhatsApp message. No booking ID, no receipt, nothing to show if the hall says it never took the date. Every payment here is tied to a booking you can open, share and print.

  • A booking ID against every advance you pay.
  • Vendor name, contact and address recorded at the time of booking.
  • Share or print the record when the vendor needs confirmation.

One place to see the whole week.

Site visits, tastings and confirmed bookings sit on one timeline with a way to message each vendor, so you are not scrolling back through eight chats to find what was agreed.

  • Appointments and confirmed bookings on the same timeline.
  • Every entry opens straight into the chat with that vendor.
  • Month and day view, so the week of the event is one glance.

Your money

The advance is protected until the day.

Today an advance is cash or a bank transfer against a WhatsApp message, with no contract and no way back if the hall resells your date. On BookitUp the money is held until the vendor has actually delivered.

  1. You pay the advance

By card, into a protected account. Not into the vendor’s personal bank account, and not in cash.

  2. It is held, not handed over

The vendor sees the booking is funded and locks your date. They cannot touch the money yet.

  3. The vendor delivers

Your booking runs on the day, against the scope written into the booking record.

  4. Then they are paid

The advance is released after delivery is confirmed. If it is not delivered, it comes back to you.

If the booking goes wrong

Your money back in full, within 48 hours.
You get less than was agreed
A partial refund, measured against the booking record.
You dispute the quality
Photos, contract and chat reviewed. Five working days to a decision.
The date has to move
Transfer the date at no cost. The money stays protected meanwhile.

BookitUp is never the custodian of your money. The advance sits with a regulated payments partner, not with us, and these protections apply to every booking from the day we open.

For vendors

Fewer enquiries. Better ones.

Vendors told us they spend around Rs 50,000 a month to be found, then sort 200 DMs by hand to get eight bookings. We send enquiries that already have a date, a budget and a category attached.

The same eight bookings, at a sixth of the cost. The 150 dead conversations never reach you.

  • Enquiries that are already qualified

Budget, date and category are known before the enquiry reaches you. No triaging a DM inbox by hand.

  • A calendar, not a notepad

Availability, quoting, bookings and payouts in one place, so the same system runs peak season and the quiet months.

  • You get paid on delivery

The advance is held and released on delivery. You stop chasing bank transfers, and the customer stops worrying about them.

  • Ranked on completed work

Placement is weighted by bookings you actually delivered, and reviews only come from settled bookings.

Questions

What people ask us first.

How booking works, what it costs, and what happens to your money. If something is not answered here, ask us when you join.

What is BookitUp?

BookitUp is a marketplace for booking a whole event in one place. You describe the occasion and the budget, and BookitUp builds a shortlist across every category the event needs, venue, catering, decor, lighting, photography, cake, so you book several vendors together instead of negotiating with each one separately.

Is BookitUp live yet?

Not yet. Join the waitlist and we will contact you as soon as bookings open in your city.

Where do I use BookitUp?

In your browser, on a phone or a laptop, and everything on this page works there: browsing vendors, checking a date, and paying an advance. Apps for iPhone and Android are on the way, and your bookings carry across, so you never have to start again.

How does the payment protection work?

Your advance is held in escrow instead of going straight to the vendor, and it is released only once the booking has been delivered. If the vendor does not show up you get the full amount back within 48 hours; if you get less than was agreed, the refund is measured against the booking record. The money sits with a regulated payments partner, never with BookitUp.

What does BookitUp cost a customer?

For venues and large catering there is a flat booking fee plus a payment-protection fee on the protected advance, there is no commission on the contract value. The platform price is contractually the lowest price the vendor offers anywhere.

What does it cost a vendor?

Venues, farmhouses, marquees and large catering pay a monthly subscription with no commission on contract value. Decor, lighting, photography, bakery and makeup pay a commission on booking value instead. Pricing is set by leakage risk rather than by category.

Which cities does BookitUp cover?

We open city by city, because a search is only useful once there are enough vendors in it to return a real shortlist. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when yours opens.

What kinds of events can I book?

Weddings and mehndi first, because that is where the multi-vendor problem is hardest. Birthdays, corporate events, aqiqah and conferences use the same vendors and the same booking rail, and are added as the vendor list grows.

Still deciding?

Joining costs nothing and there is nothing to cancel. We will write to you as soon as bookings open.
